Tessa Jane Kalinosky spends her days working as a brand strategist. Some of her favorite questions she’s helped clients address are:
What is the future of fantasy football?
What are the unmet needs of consumers in the frozen aisle?
What does a CHRO really care about when it comes to the tech their company uses?
Tessa delights in delivering not just answers to these questions but using them to push clients business forward.
She has worked with some of the world's most recognized companies — including Nike, Google, Chanel, Starbucks, Salesforce, and ESPN — translating consumer research and cultural insight into brand strategy, creative briefs, and actionable recommendations.
Tessa has held roles at agencies including Sub Rosa, Now What, Sylvain, and Plein Air, and currently works independently as a freelance strategist. Her work spans qualitative research and moderation, brand purpose development, customer segmentation, and experience design, always with a focus on putting real human needs at the center of strategic thinking.
When she’s not helping brands define who they are, what they value, and how they should show up in the world, she is often found running, listening to audiobooks, walking her dog Caper, and baking. She has a reputation for making pies and taking on DIY projects. She graduated from Skidmore College with a major in American studies.
